E.C.W.B.A. COUNTY FINALS 2025

 Clock House Ladies have had a successful year in Essex winning 8 Trophies in the Essex Finals.  This might well be a record for one club in one year.
Most of the Finals were held over the weekend 26th/27th July at Colchester West End Bowls Club.

The Saturday morning session saw Rebecca Smith compete in the 2 Wood Singles Semi-Finals followed by the Final which added Trophy 2.🏆 Trophy 1 was the 4 Wood Singles she had won, beating Brenda Bowyer of Rochford, the previous weekend. 🏆
Alongside was Lynn Farrugia & Hayley Kenny in the Pairs and ​Jane Preston, Debbie Walmsley, Michelle Squires & Janice Fortune in the Senior Fours, both adding winners trophies to the collection. 🏆🏆

​The Saturday afternoon was the Top Club Final against Connaught. ​Hayley Kenny (Singles), Lynn Farrugia & Rebecca Smith (Pairs), Jane Preston, Debbie Walmsley & Janice Fortune (Triples) & Val Baker, Angela Ueckermann, Michelle Carlin & Michelle Squires (Rink). Trophy number 5.🏆
Margaret Tinton, Jackie Mager & Jan Tallentire were the other players who contributed to the squad in earlier rounds.

​A return on Sunday morning for the Fours Final against Rayleigh saw Hayley Kenny, Michelle Carlin, Michelle Squires & Rebecca Smith triumphant. 🏆

​On Sunday afternoon, Hayley Kenny, Michelle Carlin & Rebecca Smith took the Triples Trophy with a win over Essex County. 🏆

On Saturday 8th August, the Albert Crabb Double Rink title became the 8th County title this year. 🏆
The squad consisted of Val Baker, Angela Ueckermann, Margaret Tinton, Jenny Bullock, Jan Tallentire, Toni Woodgate, Michelle Carlin, Becky Smith, Michelle Squires, Janice Fortune, Debbie Walmsley, Jane Preston.
